Large C19th Chinese bronze study of Guanyin.
Hollow cast bronze study of the Bodhisattva, Guanyin , Goddess of Mercy , shown in a seated position ,hands placed in a traditional Mudra pose , with a serene expression .
In Chinese mythology Guanyin is the goddess of mercy and considered to be the embodiment of compassion , she is an all-seeing , all-hearing being .
Dark patination with some areas showing some atmospheric wear to the original lacquered surface .
