Early C20th Queen Anne period revival carved walnut stool on cabriole legs .
Faithful copy of an important Queen Anne period walnut-framed stool . Oblong serpentine outline burr and figured walnut veneered frame with a carved central shell motif to the lateral friezes . Raised on bold cabriole supports with shell-carved knees onto pad feet , being of free-standing form . The edge of seat-frame with a raised cross-grain moulding .
The drop-in upholstered seat covered with traditional period-style �Bargello� or �Irish flame-stitch� tapestry fabric .
In excellent original condition , having a rich patina and colour . Has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops ready to use .
