Description

Late C19th Syrian octagonal nacre-shell inlaid occasional table.
Highly decorative fruitwood-framed octagonal table with profuse nacre-shell and ebonised inlaid detail . The banded and inlaid octagonal top having an inset panel top with a star-shaped design and an inlaid circular calligraphic tughra to the centre.
The base having traditional architectural arched sides with panels of shell inlay .
In excellent original condition with no losses or damage.
