Rare large C19th patinated cast-iron camel planter.
Well-cast realistically modelled study of a standing Arabian camel with intricately detailed saddle-cloth , reins , harness and traditional dressing , surmounted by a vase-shaped jardiniere. The camel stood upon an integral naturalistically cast oval base .
The surface has achieved a weathered verdigris patination from exposure to the elements from use as garden ornamentation.
The structure in excellent condition with no damage, repairs or instability.
Superb exotic decoration for either an interior or exterior scheme .
