C19th Anglo-Indian or Ceylonese carved ebony and exotic specimen wood oval occasional table .
The oval top with a carved ebony edge and inlaid with radiating exotic specimen wood veneers, including calamander, palm , palisander and coromandel. The centre of the table inlaid with a cruciform motif design.
The heavily carved column stem with leaf detail onto a quadrupite concave-sided base standing on bold carved winged claw feet.
A highly decorative table of practical proportions to add an exotic accent to an interior scheme.
In excellent original condition with no damage or repairs.
