Early C20th Edwardian period silver 3-piece ‘bachelor’s’ tea set , comprising tea-pot , milk jug and sugar bowl .
Fully hall-marked for Birmingham assay office , dated 1902 , bearing the maker’s mark of William Aitkin (W A) together with an English lion passant mark for 925 silver content .
Of neo-classical gadrooned or fluted design , the tea-pot having an angular ebonised handle and fluted knop to the hinged lid . The milk jug and sugar bowl with corresponding angular-shaped integral silver handles.
All pieces in excellent original condition with no dents or damage .
Total weight of silver approximately 17 Troy ounces .
