Unusual early C19th Regency period bronze and ormolu adjustable arm 3-light candelabra.
Modelled as a central cast ormolu Imperial eagle with spread wings perched upon a bar with cast detail terminals, above a cast lotus-style bronze column mounted on a square plinth base .The eagle supporting a candle-holder with a cast and pierced sconce .
The sides fitted with wrythen-twist cast arms each fitted with corresponding pierced candleholders and sconces . The arms being moveable and of adjustable width or spread.
An attractive combination of patinated and ormolu bronze and of unusual format.
