Very large late C19th mahogany folding-sided oval butler�s tray on an x-frame stand .
The folding sides with brass sprung hinges and having shaped cut-out carrying handles. The tray of traditional Georgian-style design and construction with four panels, the folding x-frame mahogany stand having woven webbing supports.
Of impressive large-scale country-house proportions , being in excellent original condition with only minor stains and marks to the top commensurate with age , use and purpose. The whole with a good consistent colour and patina.
