Late C19th / early C20th Syrian or Levantine nacre-shell and bone inlaid walnut or fruitwood framed mirror.
Highly decorative shell and bone-inlaid frame with an elaborate cresting rail . The shell and bone inlaid rectangular frame with carved and turned ‘mashrabiya’ panels surrounding the central mirror plate .
An exotic Syrian or Damascus mirror in excellent original condition with only minor historic losses to the inlay .
