Set of 3 late C18th / early C19th forged steel fire-irons or tools with an open ‘basket-work’ spiral-twist design detail.
Heavy gauge set of steel fire tools of sophisticated design with spiral-twist and knop details to the stems and flattened ball tops. The shovel having a pierced design to the blade .
Comprising tongs , poker and shovel , all in excellent original condition with a dark patina to the skilfully forged steel.
