Pair of mid C19th Staffordshire blue and white transfer-printed china cache-pots or jardinières.
Each printed with a differing Chinoiserie inspired fantastical design , featuring landscapes and floral motifs. The bodies being of campana shape and raised on a circular foot, each having moulded loop handles to the sides .
One printed below with the maker’s stamp of “Boyle and Son , Stoke , Manufacturers” , with a ribbon garland and surmounted with a plume of Prince of Wales feathers.
In excellent original condition with only minor historic chips to edges .
A scarce pair of blue and white pots which could be used both as jardinières or perhaps wine-coolers .
