Charming late C19th Italian carved statuary marble bust study of a boy on a �prato verde� marble socle .
Well carved marble bust study of a young boy , depicted with his head slightly lowered and with a gentle smile playing on his lips . The tousled hair and facial features skilfully carved and executed. Mounted upon a turned green �prato verde� socle with a facetted octagonal edge base.
An evocative small-scale marble bust conveying the innocence of childhood.
In excellent original condition with no damage or repairs.
