Early C19th William IV period carved mahogany framed scroll-end sofa .
Stylish mahogany framed sofa raised on turned and carved feet fitted with brass cup castors on ceramic or �pot� wheels. The carved mahogany scroll arms with carved leaf detail and large carved classical-style acanthus leaf motifs to the front . The front bar of reeded and moulded design .
The straight , moulded profile back bar with curved ends and having further carved leaf detail. The seat having a large loose squab cushion and with roll cushions to the ends . In old serviceable fabric covering which would benefit from reupholstering .
The frame in good tight , solid condition. In fresh-to-market �country-house� condition , having been removed from a grade-one listed Warwickshire manor house .
The mahogany frame retaining the original polished surface with a deep, rich colour and patina . Some minor dents and marks commensurate with age and use .
