Large C19th George IV period rosewood double-sided desk-top bookcase / book-carrier . Good scale book-carrier of heavy quality with turned balustrade divisions and bobbin-turned carrying handles. 'S' scroll support ends and raised on flattened bun feet, remnants of old baize to bottom of base. (can be re-lined in a colour of choice). Very good clean condition ,good dense timber. Useful and practical addition to a library or use as a desk centre-piece. W 19" x D 17" x H 13". England c 1825
