Late C19th Chinese Qing Dynasty hardwood side or centre table. Darkly-polished 'hongmu'/rosewood side table with 'floating' panel top and carved geometric detail frieze. Free-standing design on four square-section corner legs onto scroll-carved feet. Very good condition , with minor shrinkage to panel top and a small crack . Useful scale table of elegant proportions ,ideal as console or hall table. Rich ,dark, heavy quality timber with well-patinated top showing highlighted areas. W 37" x D 18.5 " x H 34". China c. 1890
