Description

C19th Victorian period burr-walnut bow-ended display cabinet or credenza. Highest quality glazed burr-walnut, kingwood cross-banded and gilt ormolu-mounted cabinet.
Shaped and moulded original figured white carrara marble top above an ormolu-mounted frieze, fitted with 2 ormolu-trimmed shelves with original velvet interior.
Rounded section twin-pilaster column front ,single central glazed-panel door with lock and key. Constructed using the finest quality selected veneers and materials , designed in the French Louis XVI style .
Probably by Gillows of Lancaster. In completely original condition , cleaned and waxed in our workshops, ready to use.
