Description

C18th George III period mahogany chest of drawers.
Classic late Georgian period mahogany bedroom chest with 2 short over 3 long 'cock-beaded' oak-lined drawers.
All original condition and fitted with original brass 'swan-neck' handles , original locks ,escutheons and working key.
Raised on original bracket feet and all original back-boards. The sides of planked solid mahogany with some minor shrinkage gaps to the joins . Moulded edge top ,with no splits or stains.
Has a pleasing faded patina with nicely figured timber.
A practical piece of C18th furniture of good quality and neat proportions. Cleaned and waxed in my workshops , ready to use .
