Early C19th French Charles X period ormolu bronze, bronze and gilt-brass fire-place fender. Good quality extendable bronze-mounted fender ,with patinated bronze seated mastiff dogs on plinth ends with cast foliate ormolu decoration and gilded brass base.Sliding-action extension with steel thumb-screw adjustment to rear.
