C19th Victorian period walnut framed ottoman/stool or window seat .
Generously proportioned figured walnut ottoman/stool with hinged lift-up lid. Concave frieze above a stretcher base with carved and shaped end supports.
Has been cleaned, waxed and re-upholstered in our workshops. The whole standing on replacement period-style brass and porcelain castors , the lid fitted with a folding hinged brass 'stay'. Veneered all-around in burr and figured walnut .
Could be used in any number of situations , at the end of a bed , as a window seat, a centre-piece/coffee table or as a piano stool.
Quality timber ,fitments and finish with well-chosen fabrics and trims.
