Mid C19th Victorian period mahogany chiffonier/sideboard. Superior quality dining-room sideboard/buffet/serving table with spacious interior. The base fitted with 3 frieze drawers above 3 cupboard doors enclosing a cellarette drawer , cutlery slide trays and shelves . The inverted break-front base with gently-arched raised-panel doors all fitted with brass locks and escutheons with keys. The up-stand detachable back with good quality rococo-style 'C-scroll' carving and elaborate central cartouche .Good clean condition , original polish and finish which has achieved a nice mellow patina. Some marks and minor stains to top commensurate with age and use , but no splits.
