Description

C19th Chinese late Qing Dynasty carved hardwood centre/side or console table. Well-proportioned 'hongmu' oblong side table of free-standing form . The panelled top above a heavily-carved frame with stylised leaf/wave design resembling 'vitruvian scroll' , joined by an open carved scroll-work frieze. Raised on slender, shaped rounded-section legs and shaped feet.
A stylish, useful scale table of excellent quality and well-chosen grade of timber.
Rich ,deep ,original patination and colour.
Ideal for use in a hall or reception-room setting.
No damage or repairs, waxed and cleaned ready to use.
