C19th Victorian period walnut cabriole leg stool. Robustly-made quality walnut-framed stool standing on boldly carved cabriole-shaped legs with scroll feet. The serpentine-shaped side rails with moulded edges. Upholstered in the apparently original, floral needle-work cover with corded braid. The needle-work in faded , muted condition but not damaged.
(Could be re-covered if desired,at cost , with clients chosen fabric.)
A useful size stool which would suit as a small coffee table, or as a dressing or drawing-room stool.
