Description

C19th Victorian period walnut circular occasional table with inlaid chequer-board games top. Raised on a tri-columnar carved base with central turned finial, and carved and inlaid legs. The twin moulded-edge burr-walnut top with satinwood and ebonised chequer-board inlay centre , with box-wood scroll inlay to the reserves of the round top . The tops of the tripod splayed legs with conforming box-wood inlaid designs.
Original colour and patina.
Some minor evidence of treated woodworm to the base.
The top with 2 small burn marks .
