Description

Late C19th Anglo-Indian teak-framed 'planter's' armchair . Interesting teak and rattan/cane verandah armchair with folding 'swing-out' extending leg-rests. An exaggerated rake to the angle of the back and all original cane-work seat in good strong condition , add to its appeal as an iconic design from the days of British India and the Raj.
Turned front legs and arm supports ,the rear square-section legs splayed , the extensions of the arms swivelling on brass-ringed fitments .
