2 Early C19th Regency period brass and wire-mesh 'nursery' fire-place fenders or guards.
Two similar design and scale ,blackened steel wire-mesh and brass-rim topped fire guards designed to fit around a fire-place in a nursery or child's room . Decorative wire mesh patterns used to provide a high guard to help protect children from getting too close to a fire-place during the early 19th century.
Both in good original condition .
