Important-looking bronze lion mask back-plate door knocker with cast reeded circular wreath 'clapper' . Excellent detailed bronze casting with a smart verdigris patination .
Has achieved a nice degree of wear/colour to the end of the lion's nose through polishing and due to its tactile nature and attraction .
Superb and practical piece of door furniture which has real presence and would provide a great impression and create a stunning statement to a grand entrance.
