Description

C19th satin-birch circular topped tripod-base candle-stand or occasional table in the manner of Holland & Sons.
Elegant tall table on finely turned column stem with delicately proportioned shaped supports . Circular moulded-edge top.
Probably by the London cabinet-making firm of Holland & Sons (1803-1942) , awarded the Royal Warrant early in the reign of Queen Victoria and supplied furniture to many of the Royal residencies and palaces.
In as found 'country-house' condition , with some polish-loss and water-staining to the top . No breaks or repairs .
