C19th Chinese Qing Dynasty porcelain 'famille verte' palette decorated vase lamp in C18th Qianlong period style.
Smartly converted Chinese porcelain vase with gilt-brass Chinese-style shaped foot mount and neck mount with Chinese key pattern decoration. Decorated in hand-painted panels of 'famille verte' style enamels ,depicting court and domestic scenes with shaped vignettes separated with trellis-style pattern . The base of the neck with 4 stylised gilded Lion-dog heads with 'rings' through their mouths , interspersed with prunus and bird decoration .
Minor rubbing to enamels and to gilded lions heads . No damage or repairs .
Excellent decorative lamp to introduce a taste of the exotic orient to an interior scheme.
