Pair of late C19th/ early C20th French white marble and ormolu bronze mounted vases in the neo-classical style.
Smart pair of lidded white marble vases of neo-classical design in the form of cassolettes or brule-parfums. The ovoid shaped marble bodies mounted with high quality chased ormolu mounts.
Supported on triple 'goats-head' and cloven-footed legs , the bodies with floral swags . The necks with decorative pierced decorative ormolu bands .
Each raised on circular plinth bases upon compressed bun feet.
The base of the body and the loose domed lids each fitted with berry or bud finials .
Excellent condition with historic minor repaired chips to underside edges of lids.
The crisply-cast ormolu with a brightly polished patina.
