Fine set of 6 late C18th George III period mahogany dining chairs.
Exceptional quality set of 6 mahogany dining chairs of sophisticated design, with reeded frames , raised on elegant turned and tapering fore-legs with shaped feet . The shaped and raked-angle back supports with panelled detail , the twin reeded lateral lumbar supports with double central shaped and reeded bars centred with a well-carved oval leaf motif reserve.
Superb original polish , deep ,rich patina and overall excellent condition. The stuff-over seats in a serviceable recent cut-velour fabric of a neutral yellow tone .
Can be reupholstered at cost in client's own choice of fabric if desired.
In strong ,sturdy, ready-to-use condition.
