Early C19th Regency period cast-brass door-porter or door-stop , the base modelled as a sheaf of wheat.
Wheat-sheaf base door-stop with a tall handle with cast pattern detail and integrally cast lifting-loop. The rear of the base with a cast-iron insert to provide weight and stability.
Useful period home accessory in excellent original condition.
