Description

Late C18th/early C19th George III period mahogany butler's tray with hinged folding sides.
Good large-scale mahogany butlers tray of outstanding quality timber with an excellent colour and patina .
The panelled construction with folding shaped sides , forming an oval when folded. The sides with integral pierced shaped carrying handles/grips. The original lacquered brass hinges with a sprung mechanism , allowing the folding sides to stay in position.
Minor historic marks to surface commensurate with age and use .
