Vintage 1920's French 'hard-sided ' suitcase in monogrammed olive canvas and leather by "Aux Etats Unis " of Paris .
Smart vintage travel case by the renowned Parisian firm of manufacturers of luggage "Aux Etats Unis" 229 Rue St. Honore , Paris . Contemporaries of their more well-recognised rivals Goyard and Louis Vuitton, the company produced and retailed high quality travel goods.
The stylish 'hard-sided' case in excellent original condition , covered in olive coloured monogram canvas with leather bindings with brass studs and corners . Fitted with twin hasp spring-loaded locks ( no key ) , and original leather carrying handle .In good usable and serviceable condition.
The interior fitted with it's original canvas lining and a separate lift-out trap with monogrammed packing straps .
The exterior with some minor marks and wear commensurate with age , use and purpose. Retains fragments of some evocative travel labels to one end .
