Interesting late C19th/early C20th framed circular gold-wire and silk embroidery probably depicting the Egyptian sun god Re.
Beautifully executed interpretation of the Egyptian deity or sun-god known as Re or Ra. The gold thread upon a silk background, depicts the suns rays and a central mask with cobras on either side .
Mounted behind glass within its contemporary mahogany circular frame .
In good original condition with only minor degradation/perishing to the silk .
