Pair of early C19th Regency armchairs with 'faux rosewood ' painted decoration.
Elegant pair of decorated beech-framed armchairs on finely-turned forelegs and with caned seats. The scroll-over backs with x-frame cross-over splats .
The original period simulated and grained painted 'rosewood' decoration showing some pleasing atmospheric wear and loss to the scroll arms .
Finely-drawn pair of armchairs which would work well in a drawing room or bedroom.
In excellent original condition with no breaks to frame or damage to the cane-work seats .
