Collection of 4 late C19th Japanese porcelain oval cabinet plates or dishes decorated in the Imari palette .
Highly decorative Japanese porcelain oval dishes each of varying size all painted in the bright enamels of the traditional Imari style . The asymmetrical designs featuring flower-heads , exotic birds and random motifs all executed in cobalt blue , iron-red and orange .
Two dishes of similar vibrant pattern and colours of slightly different sizes with gently scalloped edges , another dish in bold colours with scalloped edges , whilst the fourth dish has a more slightly more subdued predominantly blue design.
All in excellent condition with no damage, breaks or repairs .
