Description

Mid C19th Victorian period circular rosewood 2-tier spindle-galleried occasional or wine table.
Well-figured Brazilian rosewood circular table with 2 graduated tiers each with turned spindle galleries of flared or sloping profile. Raised on a ‘discus’ form circular base with turned edge and 3 projecting carved scroll feet. The turned rosewood column of ‘barley-twist’ or Solomonic design.
In excellent original condition with good rich colour and patina.
A decorative and practical table of interesting form and design.
