Early C19th late George III period mahogany canterbury or magazine rack .
Elegant late Georgian period mahogany canterbury of restrained design . The ‘dished’ or boat-shaped top with 3 open divided sections with both lateral and vertical slats.
The base fitted with a single full-width drawer with ebony-strung detail edges and fitted with cast-brass handle knob pulls .
Raised on tapering square-section supports fitted with original brass box socket castors and brass wheels .
In excellent original condition, providing practical storage together with classic Georgian elegance of simple sophisticated design.
Has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
