Pair of mid C19th Victorian period carved walnut salon or bedroom chairs .
High quality pair of carved walnut cabriole legged side chairs of good proportions. Balloon-shaped open backs with pierced, carved and punched ground details with rococo style C-scrolls .
The well-shaped cabriole fore-legs with carved scroll toes . The serpentine front shaped seats having their original silk covering which has some marks and stains and would benefit from re-upholstering .
No breaks , damage or repairs. Good strong frames , rich colour and patina to the solid walnut construction.
