Late C18th/ early C19th late George III period mahogany �dwarf� table-top bookcase or book-carrier .
Smart free-standing desk-top mahogany miniature bookcase with single fixed shelf . The sides fitted with original gilded-brass �swan-neck� design carrying handles with �stops�. The front surround of the carcass mahogany with a �scribed� cock-beaded edge .
The whole raised on on small compressed bun feet , being possible old replacements.
Excellent original condition with a rich colour and patina.
Decorative and practical desk-top mahogany bookcase or tidy , which could be used for both books and objects.
