Early C19th George IV period mahogany canterbury or magazine rack of bold scale.
High quality mahogany canterbury of larger scale and proportions , fitted with four divisions with vertical slats , the corners with well-figured mahogany and ring turned pillar uprights with turned and carved caps. The central division with an integral open carrying handle.
The frieze with a single mahogany-lined drawer fitted with original turned knob pulls . The whole raised on turned feet fitted with original brass cup castors and wheels.
The base of the divided storage in solid mahogany with excellent figuring and having no splits. Polished on all sides , of free-standing form .
In excellent original condition with a rich colour and patina to the high grade of selected mahogany. Has been cleaned and waxed in our workshops ready to use.
