Description

Mid C19th rectangular 3-tier mahogany etagere raised on solomonic columns.
The three serpentine outline tiers supported on well-turned ‘barley-twist’ or solomonic columns surmounted with turned finials .
The whole raised on turned feet and fitted with original brass castors.
A quality mahogany etagere or ‘whatnot’ of practical scale In excellent original condition with a rich colour and patina. One tier having a minor shrinkage crack to one end (see photograph for detail) .
